The
Society of Certified Senior Advisors (SOCSA) was founded
in 1996 by a group of geriatric physicians, gerontologists,
elder law attorneys, CPA's, financial planners and other
qualified professionals who realized that:
Senior
citizens require advice and services from professionals
who are thoroughly educated about issues that are important
to seniors.
Advisors
serving seniors need a credible source of information
and access to training from recognized experts in senior
issues. SOCSA is an educational organization.
CSA's
receive in-depth training on senior issues, and pass
a comprehensive examination. CSA's are required to complete
continuing education to stay current on senior issues.
